Junk Journaling

What can you do with all those ephemeral items from events, travels, or just memorable moments? In this workshop you be learning some some skills and secrets to start you on the path to creating some decorative tomes of your own. We’ll use old books, magazines, junk mail, old flyers to create junk to create our own junk journals. There be supplies provided but if you have ephemera you would like to use for your book, or to share with others, please bring it along.
Note: the workshop will not run until 1:30pm. People will finish at their own speeds. You are welcome to leave when you feel your journal is complete.
Light refreshments will be served. Space limited to 10 participants.
About the Artist
Noel has been an artist all her life as she was born into a creative family. With a degree in studio arts and Anthropology /Archaeology, she started doing illustrations for text books and Archeological journals. Always interested in world cultures and folklore comics and Science, Noel’s current work is heavily influenced in nature folklore and traditional folk crafts from around the world.
